Owner, manager, and rep: each sees the part they run

Sylk System has three company roles, owner, manager, and rep, and each one sees and edits a different part of the business. Permissions are enforced on the server, so a hidden button is never the only thing protecting your pricing.

Owners set the rules

Owners control the price guide, offices, contract setup, and users. They invite managers and reps by email and decide which office each person belongs to.

Managers run the floor

Managers dispatch leads, decide on time off, and see every rep’s pipeline. They get a read-only price guide with costs removed.

Reps focus on their own appointments

Reps see their own appointments, quotes, and contracts and manage their own availability. Their dashboard is built around what needs their attention next.

A record of who did what

Sensitive actions are written to an audit log that owners can review. When a rep leaves the company, their open work can be reassigned instead of lost.

Common questions

More answers are on the FAQ page.

  • Can a manager change prices?

No. Only owners can edit the price guide. Managers see a read-only version with cost data removed.

  • How do new team members get access?

The owner invites them by email and assigns their role. They accept the invite, set a password, and land in the view for their role.
